***Podcast: Examples in New Testament Bible of God leading by "visions".

Acts 10

1 There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band,

2 A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.

3 He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.

(When we see God doing something in the New Testament Bible, I believe we can see that God could do something like that with us, if need be.)

4 And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.

5 And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter:

6 He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do.

God also prepared Peter to receive the men from Cornelius.  (vision from God)

Acts 10

9 On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour:

10 And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,

11 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:

12 Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.

13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.

14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.

15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

16 This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.

17 Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon's house, and stood before the gate,

18 And called, and asked whether Simon, which was surnamed Peter, were lodged there.

19 While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.

20 Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them.

*** Podcast: As a New Christian in 1975, I set about proving by the New Testament Bible my doctrine that I would live by. If it was shown me to have happened in the NT Bible I felt it could happen to me today!

Does God use dreams to lead HIS people today?  Do we have examples of dreams used by God to lead disciples who have the Holy Spirit to lead them?

We know by the Bible that God led HIS chosen by dreams.  We see many examples.  But in the New Testament church each individual has the HOLY Spirit in him to lead him and to guide him.

I Corinthians 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

John 14:26   (Jesus says)  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in MY name, HE shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 16:13  Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth, is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear, that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come.

So does God still use dreams?

And what about angels?  Does God still use angels with Christians to lead them?

I Thessalonians 5:21  Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

So I went to the New Testament Bible and read the examples concerning both dreams and angels.

*** Podcast: To avoid fornication ...

The Bible says:

I Corinthians 7

1 Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.

2 Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

3 Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.

4 The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.

5 Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

I Corinthians 6

15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.

16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith HE, shall be one flesh.

(By this scripture, Paul show us that at the time of sexual intercourse, even if sex is with a prostitute, the two become one flesh.)

17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

(Sexual sins are different from all other sins.)

19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's

I Corinthians 5  (What to do with sins inside the church group?)

1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.

2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.

3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,

4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, 5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

(I believe we deliver that church sinner to Satan when we refuse to keep company with such.)

6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: 10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.

11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?

13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

*** Podcast: Before Jesus returns the churches fall away from scripture allowing antichrist to come into the churches.

2 Thessalonians 2

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

In 1982, concerning this "falling away", God said to me:  "The falling away are not people leaving the churches ... The falling away are churches leaving the scripture."  This is that spirit of antichrist coming into the churches.

The churches falling away from scripture has been happening for many decades therefore the stage is set and we stand today at the threshold of the coming of Jesus.  HE could come any day now.

💥💥💥

When Jesus does come, HE will destroy the people who deny scripture:

2 Thessalonians 2

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of HIS mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of HIS coming:

9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

*** Podcast: The Bible shows antichrist coming into the churches in the last days.

I John 2:18-19

18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

Antichirst is a spirit in many men,  much as devils are spirits that bring ideas to humans.

In 1 John 4, the apostle John explains that antichrist is a spirit operating in men.

I John 4

3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is HE that is in you, than he that is in the world.

5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

The apostle Paul warns the elders of the church at Ephesus:

Acts 20  (Paul travels to Ephesus and speaks to the elders of the church at Ephesus)

17 And from Miletus he (Paul) sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.

18 And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons,

19 Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:

20 And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,

21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

22 And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:

23 Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.

24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

25 And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.

26 Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.

27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which HE hath purchased with HIS own blood.

29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

Do we do evil things when no one else is watching?

Do we think we hide from God?

The world will hate us unless we are like the world.

If we show support for their sin by going to dinner with them, they will cling to us, flaunting before us their sin.

I do not show friendships to homosexuals or lesbians, or adulterers, or fornicators.  While I care about them, I cannot go with them to the barbeque.  Instead I share what God says about the sins and they usually don't want to be around me any more.  However, some even try to be friends with me, while knowing my support for the scriptures which show their sins.  But I avoid them.

James 4:4  Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

16 Rejoice evermore.  (Rejoice in the Word of God)

17 Pray without ceasing.

18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

19 Quench not the Spirit.

*** Podcast: Jesus is coming to gather the dead in Christ and HIS elect who live by the Word of God, the Bible.

There is nothing that I know of in the Bible that tells us to celebrate Christmas.

Basically, I celebrate Jesus, the Word, every day.

The world has set up their version of "Christmas" though they do not follow Jesus, the Word.

When Jesus returns, HE will first awaken the dead in Christ who sleep in HIM.

 1 Thessalonians 4

13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with HIM.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (go before) them which are asleep (dead).

16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

*** Podcast: As Christians, we must not live by the evil ways of this present world.

At all times we live according to what God says in the Holy Bible.  Overcoming this world by the Word of God in the Bible.

We can be destroyed if we go according to the opinions of this world.

Jesus says:

Revelation 3:5  He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before MY Father, and before HIS angels.

Many churches set up perverse doctrines which make you feel good but can destroy you for all eternity.

Therefore the apostle Paul tells us the following:

Romans 12:1-2  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Renew your mind to the scriptures in the New Testament Bible and hold fast to the promises of God which are still valid in the Old Testament.

Set your goal to live godly lives in the Word of God written in the Bible, pleasing God in all your ways.

2 Timothy 3

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Know where the scripture is that tells us ways to live in the issues of life:  divorce, remarriage; homosexual, lesbian; fornication; drunkenness, and such.

Jesus says many go in the ways of destruction and few find the ways of life.

Matthew 7:13-14  Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Most people today, even in churches, go in ways of destruction.

Some even call the ways of the Bible "old fashioned".

But the Bible does not change.

Hebrews 13:8  Jesus Christ (The Word) the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

We, who are Christians, must live by the verses of scripture in the Bible and not be swept away by wisdom of this world which will be destroyed when Jesus returns to gather the dead in Christ and HIS saints.

There will be no unrighteousness in heaven.  There will be no compromise in heaven.

Build your house today on the foundation given us by the Holy Bible.

*** Podcast: Sexual sins in the church.

It is a terrible thing when sexual sins occur inside the church group.  I have personally been propositioned for sex more by church going men than I ever was by men in this world.

Recently a Baptist woman told me there were sexual sins going on in the small Baptist church in the 1950's when we were in high school and many of the teenagers knew of these sins in the Baptist church group.

I had no idea this was happening until she told me of this a few weeks ago.  I didn't attend any church group when I was a young person.  I didn't even keep company with young people at school.  I just wanted to finish high school and escape to college!  So I missed a lot of things that were questionable and were going on in high school even in the early 1950's.  I have no doubt that it is worse today, but we shouldn't be expecting to see this inside a church group, although I know it is in churches today.

The apostle Paul says to put these evil doers out of the church.

I Corinthians 5

11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

13 ... Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

I find people within the church group mostly gossip with other church people about sins in the church and they fail to take godly action against the "brother" who sins but they end up sinning themselves by gossiping.

*** Podcast: What the Bible says about divorce and remarriage.

The Bible gives different rules concerning divorce for a man and divorce for a woman.

For men:  The only scriptural reason given for a man to divorce his wife is if she is unfaithful.

Matthew 5:32  (Jesus says)  But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

- If a man divorces a faithful wife and she remarries, it will be adultery but the first husband will be the cause of the faithful wife's adultery.
- The man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

💥💥💥

For women:  There is no scripture which permits a woman to divorce her husband.  Paul says it is a commandment of the Lord that the wife not leave her husband.  But if she does leave her husband she is to remain unmarried or return to her husband.

I Corinthians 7:10-11  And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:

11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

💥💥💥

When believer is married to an unbeliever.

I Corinthians 7  (Paul says)

12 But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.

13 And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.

14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.

15 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.

16 For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife?

(Paul is telling the believer to live as a Christian and if the unbelieving mate is content to live in peace with the believer, let the unbeliever continue.  But if the unbeliever is not content with the believer, let the unbeliever depart. As a believer, do not divorce the unbeliever.  But if the unbeliever is not content to live in peace, let the unbeliever depart.)

💥💥💥

Jesus says this about divorce and remarriage.

Mark 10

6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.

7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;

8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.

9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

10 And in the house HIS disciples asked HIM again of the same matter.

11 And HE saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.

12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

Revelation 12:12 ...  Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

💥💥💥

Recently, for several days, devils fought against me causing me to have to fight to hold on.  I would fight and be all right and then a wave of depression would hit me again and I had to make myself hold on to God and not let go and not give in to depression.

I think the end times will bring torments to us and we must be "strong in the Lord", strong in the Word and strong in the power of God.

Torments come to me when I see the evil ways of people of the world and especially evils of people who attend churches and say "Jesus is Lord", but they do not live by the Word of God, the Holy Bible.

We must uphold the Word even when they live by evils, opposite to the Word.

Ephesians 6

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of HIS might.

(Be strong "in the Lord", in the Word, in the promises of God, and in HIS power, not in your own power.)

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

(I found this, verse 17, is what I had to do.  And when someone in the church group showed no real interest in hearing what God had done and no evidence they followed the Word of God, I found I couldn't be around such persons and had to leave them alone. I found many in churches who didn't have an interest in following God.  I believe it is in this scripture: 2 Timothy 3:5  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. They attended church as I did.  They appeared to read the Bible and professed Jesus, The Word, to be their Lord.  But I could see they weren't really following the Word of God in their own lives.  So I ended up "turning away" from them as Paul said to do.)

18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

On this Podcast, I will share with you 3 examples of trying to be friends with unbelieving members of Churches.

***Podcast: When Pam's great-aunt Eunice was born again in her latter years after being a long time Baptist.

This is a story of Pam Padgett's long time Baptist relative, aunt Eunice.

Pam says:

Several years ago my Dad's relatives arranged a family reunion.  My Dad and 2 sisters came from Oklahoma to Colorado to attend the reunion, and I went with them.

Among the many relatives was my great-aunt Eunice, who was probably in her 80's at that time.  Aunt Eunice was a long-time Baptist.

During the reunion, Aunt Eunice got up and, very excitedly, announced to everyone that she had recently been born again!

As Aunt Eunice went on talking about this, her eldest daughter, Anita, who happened to be sitting next to me, leaned over to me and said that her mother had just recently started saying these things and that she didn't know why her mother doing this.  She said that everyone knows her mother has always been a Christian, working at the church often, cleaning and doing whatever needed to be done.

Anita was clearly very puzzled, and maybe even a little concerned, that her mother had begun saying that she had recently been born again.   But I was joyful hearing what Aunt Eunice said!

In the car on the way back to my house, I said to my Dad and sisters, "Wasn't what Aunt Eunice said wonderful?"

My Dad said, "What was that?"  Neither of my sisters seemed to know what I was talking about either.

I told them that Aunt Eunice had announced that she was recently born again.  None of them showed any interest in this and went on talking about other things.  At that time, none of them were born again.

I Corinthians 2:14   But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

(My Dad was born again some years later, and I've had a dream that causes me to believe one my sisters will at some point be born again, for in the dream this sister showed understanding of the following scripture:)

I Peter 5:8-9  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

Jesus said:

John 3:3  Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

(Things of the kingdom of God cannot be understood unless you are born again.)

*** Podcast: "It doesn't matter", says the unbeliever about scripture.

(Comments by Joan Boney)

When I was in my 60's, I was engaged to be married to a man who said he was a Christian.

He said Pharaoh was on the banks of the Red Sea when the waters returned to normal and killed his men in the sea.

When I told him, this was not correct, he said, "That's what the movie made by Cecil B Demille showed."

I took a Bible and began looking this up and Howard said, "Oh ... it really doesn't matter."

(So many people who join churches think scripture doesn't really matter today.)

I continued looking this up in Bible, and handed the Bible to Howard, and had him read this scripture:

Exodus 15

1 Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for HE hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath HE thrown into the sea.

2 The LORD is my strength and song, and HE is become my salvation: HE is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt HIM.

3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is HIS name.

4 Pharaoh's chariots and his host hath HE (God) cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea.

5 The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone.

6 THY right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: THY right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.

7 And in the greatness of thine excellency THOU hast overthrown them that rose up against thee: THOU sentest forth THY wrath, which consumed them as stubble.

8 And with the blast of THY nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea.

9 The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.

10 THOU didst blow with THY wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters.

19 For the horse of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and the LORD brought again the waters of the sea upon them; but the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea.

After Howard read this from the Bible, I said, "Now what do you think?"

He said he guessed the movie was wrong.

(We broke up a couple of months before we were scheduled to be married.)

*** Podcast: My aunt was taken into heaven once and she described it to me. I was taken into heaven twice shortly after I was born again.

When we follow that which the Holy Spirit tells us to do, fruits of God come by that which we did and said.

Mark 16:20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

*** Podcast: Jesus says there will be no marriage in heaven.

Matthew 22:30  (Jesus says)  For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

Mark 12:25  (Jesus says)  For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.

*** Podcast: We will not have fleshly bodies in heaven. The apostle John tells us what it is like in heaven.

I Corinthians 15

44  It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

God is a spirit.

46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

We will not all die.

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

(Blink:  That is how fast we will be changed to our new spiritual body.)

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

What is is like in heaven:

Revelation 21

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God HIMSELF shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

(Since we will not have these fleshly bodies in heaven, there will be no death, no sorrow, no crying, no pain ... for we will have no flesh.)

5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

*** Podcast: The end time "falling away" spoken of by the apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2.

In the Bible, the apostle Paul told us in the end time churches would fall away from scripture, speaking perverse things, (Acts 20:29-30), and men would set themselves up as gods in the church. (2 Thessalonians 2)

This is that spirit of antichrist that moves into church groups and sets up doctrines opposite to doctrines of Christ in the Bible.

It is antichrist in the churches of the end times.

Acts 20:29-30  (Paul speaking to the elders of the church at Ephesus)  For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of the Lord) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

This "falling away" happens before Jesus returns.

God said to me:  "The falling away are not people leaving the churches.  The falling away are churches leaving the scriptures."

This falling away from scripture has been taking place in various churches for several decades and is all over this world now.

The stage is set for the returning of Jesus since the falling away of 2 Thessalonians is happening in churches today all over the world ... churches falling away from various scriptures and setting up doctrines opposite to the scripture in their church groups.

Explained in this podcast.

*** Podcast: We can be worse than we were before if we turn back to an area of sin.

2 Peter 2

20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

*** Podcast: God restores my soul.

Recently I had a conversation with a church woman and found I was almost destroyed by her.

God greatly restored my soul when I read this scripture in the Bible.

I Thessalonians 4

13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with HIM.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

*** Podcast: Being friends with unbelievers?

I care very much about 3 individuals who are church goers but likely not really of God.  I find each time they show up briefly, the doors close quickly.  Often I am praying for help from God and usually they disappear for a season after I pray.  (I freely share scripture and things God has taught me when I am with them but there is no evidence that these things help them al all.)

Paul says:

I Corinthians 2:14  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

2 Corinthians 6

14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

(After I was born again in 1975, I was so changed by God that I no longer had anything in common with the world or the people of the world whose interest was in worldly things and worldly achievements.  I just wanted to learn about God and be around people of God.  My previous interests vanished.)

15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be MY people.

17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean; and I will receive you,

They attended church as I did.  They appeared to read the Bible and professed Jesus, The Word, to be their Lord.  But I could see they weren't really following the Word of God in their own lives. In the Bible, the apostle Paul says to us:

Romans 16:17

Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

2 Timothy 3

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness (attending church and saying Jesus is Lord) , but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of WHOM thou hast learned them;

15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

James 4:4  Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

(friend:  one who gives support and assistance)
