* Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.



 
 
The world has many sayings which are not in agreement with the Bible.

The apostle Paul warned us not to be conformed to this world.  But we are to be transformed by that which the Word of God says to us and by the Holy Bible.

As a new Christian in 1975, I thought it was in the Bible that all men are created equal.  I was so shocked to find out this is not in the Bible but is a saying of man.

Some people say, "You'll never get out of this world alive."  But the apostle Paul tells us not all will see death.  

(I Cor. 15:51)  Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,
 
 I was so shocked when I learned a couple of Baptist women were going out to the cemetery to decorate graves.  Are we testifying to death or to resurrection?  Why decorate graves?  Who are you trying to impress?  That dead person does not know you are at that grave for he is asleep.  So who are you trying to impress?

(In Bible, death is described as being asleep.  John 11)

As Christians why are we following pagan acts?  We should consider that which we do as Christians.

We are so different from people of this world for we know our kingdom is not of this present world.  We are just waiting here until Jesus removes us and takes us to the new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.

II Peter 3

10  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

As we live on this earth as Christians, we conform our way to the Word of God.

* Instead of beating other people and outdoing other people, we desire to help other people.

* Our goal, set by the Bible, is to live on this earth in peace, without spot and blameless in the sight of God.  (II Peter 3:14)

*  Even if man should defraud us, we know God will repay us.  

* We do not seek to avenge ourselves but we trust God to help us in all matters.

*  We seek wisdom from God and we walk in HIS way as we live on this earth.

Hebrews 11

13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.

15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.

16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for HE hath prepared for them a city.

Voting for governments is a very big issue in the United States.  At the end of this podcast I will tell you scripture which pertains to this subject.

Concerning voting for governments of men:

I would not want to approve any person for anything unless I was sure that person was godly.  A godly person is a person who turns to God in every issue and seeks the will of God and structures his life by scripture.  

Judging by their advertisements on TV, I have never seen any politician display himself or herself in a godly manner.  I just see various works of the flesh and much strife and hatred displayed and often the truth is put in high question.

Galatians 5:19-22   Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance:

I have seen one political party openly have homosexuals and lesbians in their conventions and rallies.  And I've seen men dressed as women sitting there on TV camera displaying themselves proudly without any godly sanction by the political leaders.  I believe I'm right in saying both political parties have a policy of approval of homosexuals and lesbians.

God says:  concerning homosexuals and lesbians

Romans 1:25-28  Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Politics is a worldly thing full of ungodly acts, filled with hatred, variance, strife and evil speaking one of another, openly approving many evils against the Bible.

And for us, as Christians, to wish a human well in his endeavors contains a sizable risk spiritually speaking, for each of us.

I remind us of the following.

II John

8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

11For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Here is something the Bible does tell us to do concerning those who are in authority:

II Timothy 2:1-3  I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;  For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.  For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

The apostle Peter tells us to live as follows as we wait for the return of Jesus when we will be removed from this earth and taken to the new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.

II Peter 3;10-14

I do not believe I could participate in politics at any level and live in peace, without spot and blameless.

Politics is a very worldly evil thing appealing to the flesh of men and often making men feel they are doing good while their real works are evil and against many parts of the Bible.

While we live in this world, we are not of this world.

Hebrews 11

As Christians we are strangers and pilgrims on this earth just waiting in a godly way for Jesus to return to take us off this earth and to take us to the new heaven and the new earth which is filled only with righteousness.

Revelation 22   Jesus says:

12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

14 Blessed are they that do HIS commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

* Our door is Jesus, The Word.



 

The way to go on this earth is the way of Jesus, The Word.


The gates of hell will not prevail against that Word revealed to us by God concerning the matter at hand.


John 10

Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I (The Word) am the door of the sheep.

8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

9 I (The Word) am the door: by ME (The Word)  if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I (The Word) am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

27  My sheep hear MY voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of my hand.

(No man or thing can take us out of HIS hand.)

29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man (none) is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

30 I and my Father are one.

We know the voice of God, of Jesus The Word.

We follow HIM and not strange voices of this world's thinking and of devils.

* The "falling away" and the allowing of antichrist into the churches.




 
If we endure in things of God to the end of our lives on this present earth we will be saved.

Jesus warned: Concerning the end times:  Matthew 24:12-13   And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Some individuals start out on fire for things of God but along the years grow cold and fall away from Bible, saying they want to go on to something more interesting.

Romans 1:28  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

And sometimes entire church groups "fall away" from scriptures.

The apostle Paul said there would come a "falling away" and antichrist would come into the churches before Jesus returns.  Paul said this had to happen before Jesus could return for the church.

This has already happened and is still happening as churches fall away from scripture:

II Thess. 2:3-4    Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of the Lord) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

In 1982, God said to me:  "The falling away are not people leaving the churches.  The falling away are the churches leaving the scripture."

Sometimes people grow lukewarm, neither hot or cold.


Revelation 3  Jesus says:

17 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

II Thessalonians 2   (NASB)

6 And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only HE who now restrains will do so until HE is taken out of the way.

In approximately 2017, God brought the word "restraint" to me.  I found it in II Thessalonians 2, NASB.

Who is it that "restrains" antichrist?  I asked God.

And immediately I realized the scriptures restrained antichrist and when the scriptures were taken out of the church in part and another doctrine set up in the church, antichrist had moved into that church group and was at work there.

What we are seeing now is the end time falling away that had to come into the churches before Jesus returns, and other doctrines being set up in churches.

We, who belong to God, follow the doctrines of Christ in the Holy Bible:


Concerning divorce and remarriage:

I Corinthians 7:10-11  And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:  But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.


Romans 7:1-3  Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.  So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.



Matthew 5:32  But I (Jesus) say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.


Matthew 19:9  And I (Jesus) say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.


Mark 10:6-9  Jesus says: But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

11-12   And HE (Jesus) saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.  And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

* Forgetting those things that are in the past and going forward in God.




When we allow ourselves to think on the past, we often become depressed or go in the way of destruction.  We cannot go forward if we linger in the past memories.


The apostle Paul said to the church:  

Philippians 3:12-15   Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded:


We cannot dwell in the past and go forward with God.


Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

We must learn to live in the current season.

* Rejoice in the Lord, The Word.



 

Jesus tells us to lay up treasure in heaven, not on this present earth.  (Mt. 6:19-20)

As we rejoice in the WORD, we keep our minds stayed on the WORD.  The WORD is our treasure and it is treasure on this earth as we live here and it will be stored up for us also in heaven.

So what WORD is our treasure now?

* THE WORD came to this earth in the form of a man, Jesus, to die for us to pay for our sins with HIS blood.

The people of this world try to save themselves by their own works.

But we are saved by THE WORD, by HIS works.  

As we live in the Word, we abide in HIM.

I'm also grateful that God did not leave us alone on this earth.  God and Jesus are with each of us constantly to teach us and guide us and even show us things to come.  We are not alone.  Jesus is in us and with us at all times by HIS Spirit.

II Cor. 13:5  Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

I Cor. 3:16  Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

I Cor. 6:19  What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

And the Holy Spirit of Jesus who is in us does the following things for us:

John 14:26  But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 16:13  Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

So we are never alone at any time on this earth.  Jesus dwells in us by HIS Spirit to guide us and teach us.

* Titus 3:9-11: After warning a person once or twice, just walk away from him and keep your peace.


 

We cannot live in peace while tying to live with those who say they are Christians when they will not do scripture and they are not led by the Spirit of God.  For we try to share truth from God with them and they argue with us ... or they go dead and say nothing, just waiting for us to stop talking so they can talk about this world and things they enjoy.

God has a way of escape for us and we must take that way of escape in order to live in peace.

Titus 3:9-11  But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;  Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

After we try to share scripture once or twice, and we see them fail to rejoice in that scripture, then we have to just stop trying to share with them and we walk away and keep ourselves from being entangled again with them.

And avoid those who want to strive with us about our doctrine.  For to enter into this is very destructive.

We think we can cause them to understand, but we can't, when they have already rejected the doctrine which we carried to them.  To try to keep teaching them will pull us down with them.  So learn to do Titus 3:10-11  A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;  Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

(No entanglements by phone calls, or Birthday cards, or things of the flesh of man to draw them into fleshly relationships.  Just leave them alone.  If they come to God, then they will come to us.)

There is only one Spirit... so if we both have that Holy Spirit we will agree.  For if there is disagreement, God will cause us to agree.  We don't discuss it to agree.  We have God in us to explain scripture to us and we will be brought to agreement by the Spirit of God when we are both of God.

But we will never come to agreement otherwise.  If one person has the Spirit of God in him and the other person does not have the Spirit of God but is trying to come to God by joining a church and by doing church doctrine, we can't agree about scripture and things of God.

For Paul shows us the following:

I Corinthians 2:14   But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Romans 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

* God creates new heaven and new earth and we will not even remember this present earth.



 
 
God says:

Isaiah 65:17  For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

All these things that trouble us will not even be remembered when we are taken into the new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.

The apostle John describes the new heaven and new earth as follows:

Revelation 21:1-5   And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

And this present life will not even come into our minds again!

In the meantime, the apostle Paul tells us:  Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.  Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded:  (Phil. 3:13-15)

* The evil in politics: Can a Christian be involved in the hatred of political parties and in voting and approving worldly men?


 

In 2016, I was watching TV and happened upon the Democratic National Convention.  As they showed the delegates, the cameras viewed in on a woman.  Something seemed wrong.  She was wearing a dress.  She had on heels and women's jewelry.  She wore a woman's make-up.  Then I realized she was a man dressed as a woman!  A slight beard had begun to appear on her face.  I was very shocked!

Apparently the political parties are approving and accepting homosexuals and lesbians as delegates to their national conventions and approving them in their parties.

(I am very non-political and do not vote for either party.)

Somehow seeing this man dressed as a woman at a political convention showed me how very evil the world of politics is today. 
 
A Christian could not be a part of being involved in such worldly evil. 
 
For the Bible says the following concerning homosexuals and lesbians.

Romans 1:24-28   Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
 
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:  And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

As a Christian, we cannot participate in anything that is contrary to Bible for the apostle John says to approve such and wish them well would be to make ourselves as a participant in their evil deeds.

II John

Politics in every way is filled with hatred and will cause the Christian to hate and to fight the other party.   
And we must abstain from those things which cause us to hate.

To vote for either party is to approve worldly men who do evil things.

Instead, the apostle Paul says to pray for those in authority.

If we learn to hate the other political party, how can we pray for those in authority if they win the election?

As Christians we are separated from the work of worldly men and women.  We live in this world but are not of this world.  Our goal is to live in peace, without spot and blameless in the sight of God, as we wait for Jesus who takes us out of this world and takes us to the new heaven and new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.  (II Peter 3:14 & Rev. 21:21-5)

We cannot be a part of politics and vote for men of this world allowing ourselves to be a part of their evil.

I Thessalonians 5

1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.

8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.

11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

* "Peace and safety "

In the 1960's in Texas if a homosexual was caught, he was put in prison.  It was against the law to be homosexual in Texas.

Today homosexuals are safe in USA as never before.  They have to be saying "peace & safety" as never before.

Homosexuals and lesbians can even draw benefits from USA government as married couples.

They are protected in their jobs in USA.  People are forbidden in the work force today to speak that which the Bible says about homosexuals and lesbians.

The leaders of the Catholic church have publicly accepted same sex marriages.

Nothing can touch homosexuals and lesbians today ... except for God!


Adultery and fornication, sex outside of marriage between men and women, is often approved and protected in USA.  Adultery and fornication approved and accepted by society as "normal".  We are rarely shocked by anything today for it appears over and over before our eyes.


The churches invite all to come to church.

The doctrines of Christ have been silenced and removed in the church groups so no one will be offended in their various sins which are approved at the churches.

All is well!  

A time of "peace and safety" ... surely we draw nearer to the coming wrath of God, the great tribulation (Rev. 8-16), upon this earth and the removal of the godly from this earth.


Jesus says:

Matthew 24

21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And HE (Jesus) shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.


II Peter 3

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

* Before Jesus returns, God will shake the heavens and the earth.


 

In the last days, God will cause the powers of heaven to be shaken and the earth shall move "out of her place" in the solar system.


Several years ago, God gave me a dream about this:  The earth slipped and moved on its axis.  People were terrified.  The governments of men were meeting with the scientists and religious leaders to see what could be done about this.  A TV newsman was telling the story and he was so frightened he just stopped in the middle of his report and got up and walked out of the studio.  He knew this was going to affect him too.

The Old Testament prophet, Isaiah, told of this in the following scripture:

Isaiah 13:13  God says:  Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of HIS fierce anger.

Since the beginning of creation, God has kept the earth in place in the solar system as we know it to be.  By HIS Word God created the heaven and the earth.  And this creation was perfect for sustaining life.

In the end of this world, it will all be changed by God and man will find there is nothing he can do to stop this from happening, though he will try to stop it.

Jesus described it as follows:

Matthew 24:29-31   Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And HE shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Everything we can see with our natural eye will either be removed from this present earth or destroyed.

And every human will then appear to be judged by the Word of God and will receive for that which he has done in his lifetime whether good or bad.  (II Cor. 5:10)

Since we will be judged by The Word, we want to conform our lives to The Word, doing that which we see to do by the instruction given in the New Testament Bible.

So the apostle Paul tells us the following:

Romans 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

We must conform our own minds to the Word of God, being in agreement with the Holy Bible for it is by the Word we will be judged.

So we conform our thinking to that which God says about the subject.

- Divorce/remarriage
- Homosexual/lesbians
- Various types of sins of the flesh:  adultery, fornication, idolatry, superstitions of men, hate, variance, emulations, and other works of the flesh, for the apostle Paul tells us:  "They which do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God."  (Galatians 5:21)

We must agree with God and change our way of thinking and change our way of living while we are on this present earth, considering the New Testament Bible in all things as the rule for the way to live while we are alive on this earth.

The Holy Spirit is in us.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.


John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

The spirit of this world is in the people of this world.

John 8:44  Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Knowing the children of God:

John 4:4-6   Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is HE that is in you, than he that is in the world.

5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

John 10    Jesus says:

  (The Word) am the door: by ME if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

27  My sheep hear MY voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

We hear the voice of Jesus when HE speaks to us by HIS Spirit.  We recognize HIS voice.  We follow HIS voice.  But the voice of a strange spirit we will not follow for we know it is not HIS voice for we are HIS sheep.

John 10

3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear HIS voice: and HE calleth HIS own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.

4 And when HE putteth forth HIS own sheep, HE goeth before them, and the sheep follow HIM: for they know HIS voice.

5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

God's voice is pure, peaceable, gentle, easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.  James 3:17

* The religious people who do not have the Spirit will always twist things of God.



John 9

14  And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his (the blind man's) eyes.


16 Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them.

The Word does bring division.  For that person who understands the word will be divided from that person who has joined a church but does not understand the Word of God.

Therefore when a religious person does not have the Spirit of God, he will fail to see the miracle and pick away at the letter of the law, which he has misinterpreted.

Religious people often strain at gnats while swallowing camels.

The church are those individuals who have the Spirit of God in them and who are led by the Spirit of God.

Romans 8:14   For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Paul explains:  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. (I Cor. 2:14)

* The disciples ask Jesus, "What is the sign of your coming and the end of the world?



Matthew 24

1  And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and His disciples came to Him for to shew Him the buildings of the temple.

2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

(At the end of this world, everything we can see with our natural eye will be destroyed by God.  II Peter 3:10-14)

3 And as HE sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Jesus went on to tell them many other things that would happen at the end of this world, but the first sign to look for is people would come saying Jesus is the Christ and because they say Jesus is the Lord, they would deceive many into thinking they were really of God when they did not have the Spirit.

* Jesus raises the dead and changes the living into new spiritual bodies taking them to the new heavens and the new earth.


 
 
Before we are taken into heaven, we are changed out of this present body and given a new spiritual body, says Paul in I Cor. 15.

Paul says:  There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.  As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.  And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.  Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.  Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Blink!  That is how fast we will be changed into our new spiritual bodies before we are taken into heaven.

Then Paul tells about Jesus raising those who have died.
 
 I Thessalonians 4 

13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep (dead).

16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.


Jesus takes us to the new heavens and the new earth wherein dwelleth righteousness.  For the great tribulation will come upon this present earth and after that this heaven and earth will be destroyed by God by fire. (2 Peter 3:10-14)

God showed the apostle John the new heaven and new earth.

Revelation 21

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And HE said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

We will be changed into new spiritual bodies before we are taken into the air to be with Jesus.

I Corinthians 15   The apostle Paul says:

38  But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased Him, and to every seed his own body.

39 All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.

40  There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

41  There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.

42  So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:


43  It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

44  It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

49  And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep (die), but we shall all be changed,

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

(Blink.  That is how fast we will be changed into our new spiritual bodies.)

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

After the great tribulation, God destroys this present heaven and earth.

II Peter 3   Peter says:

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

Philippians 4

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

* Before the second coming of Jesus, the churches will fall away from scripture allowing antichrist into the church groups.




 
For centuries, churches have debated:  Who is antichrist?

In the early 1800's, the Russians thought the antichrist was Napoleon.

When I was born again and began attending a church group, they talked about antichrist and they said they thought antichrist was Henry Kissinger.  

Some people considered Hitler to be antichrist.

The truth about antichrist is told us in the following scripture.  

The apostle John said:  I John 2:18-19  Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

19  They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

Antichrist is not one person.  Antichrist is a spirit in many people in religious settings.

The apostle Paul said Jesus would not come unless there was first a falling away.  And Paul spoke of antichrist sitting "in the temple of God" showing himself to be god.  

We see that antichrist comes through the church.


II Thessalonians 2:3-4  (KJV)   The apostle Paul says:

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of the Lord) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

In 1982, I was reading the above scripture and God spoke to me by the Holy Spirit and said:  "The falling away are not people leaving churches.  The falling away are the churches leaving the scriptures."

II Thessalonians 2  (NASB)

6 And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way.

In 2017, God called the word "restrain" to my attention.  I remembered that word in the NASB of II Thessalonians 2. 

When I read verse 6, I said to God, "What is it that restrains antichrist?"

Instantly I knew the restraint against antichrist was the scripture.  As soon as portions of scripture were removed from the churches, antichrist moved into the churches and set up his own doctrine. 

Antichrist does not repent and he does not show any shame when he is confronted with the truth.  

Antichrist twists the scripture and alters doctrine and congregations often love the change in the doctrines for now they can commit sins without the restraint that was once there in scripture.  

They are now free to sin and be approved by churches who have changed the doctrine of Christ and no longer speak of sin.

The true Christians want freedom from sin so they will continue to cling to scripture for by scripture they free themselves from sins by following the scriptures.

* II Peter 3:1-10: Scoffers in the last days


 

In the last days, men will doubt God because they think everything from the beginning of time has continued as always so why should they believe it will change.


The apostle Peter calls these men "scoffers".

II Peter 3   Peter says:

1 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:  2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

4 And saying, Where is the promise of HIS coming? for since the fathers fell asleep (died), all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

And prior to the destruction of this earth, will come the great tribulation of God, the 14 plagues of God as judgment upon the wickedness on this present earth.  (see Revelation 8-16)

Jesus says: "No man cometh unto the Father but by me, the Word."


 

Jesus, the Word, is the way to God.  There is no other way or plan of man or doctrine other than that doctrine of Jesus Christ.  

Your church doctrine is often different from the Word of the New Testament Bible.  

Your church doctrine might be based on the tradition of men.  It will not take you to God.  

You can't go to God through Buddha or through Mohammad.  It is only by Jesus, THE WORD, we come to God.

When we believe on The Word given to us by God and act on that word, are we followers of God.

Church attendance and good works will not take us to God the Father.  

Only by Jesus, The Word, can we come to God.

* Jesus says: " I am the way, the truth, and the life."



 

The Word from God is the way.  That Word brought to our mind by the Holy Spirit leads us to life and not to destruction.

Proverbs 16:25  There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

But that Word given you by God is life.  Focus on that Word.  Keep that Word before you day and night.  Do that Word.

Proverbs 4:20-22  My son, attend to MY words; incline thine ear unto MY sayings.  Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.  For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.



John 1:1-5  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.  All things were made by HIM; and without HIM was not any thing made that was made. In HIM was life; and the life was the light of men. 

14  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

THE WORD was made flesh.  THE WORD came to earth in the form of a man named Jesus.

Heb. 1:1-2  God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,  Hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son, whom HE hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also HE made the worlds;

* Jesus says, "Now ye are clean through the Word which I have spoken unto you."




The Holy Spirit brings to our mind scriptures and concepts to show us the will of God and the way we are to go in this present life.

We live in peace on this earth, by doing that which is brought to our mind by the Spirit of God.

And we are cleansed by The Word when the Holy Spirit brings to our mind information and we make changes to our lives and go in the way of That Word.

Jesus says:  John 14:1-5  I (the Word) am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.  Every branch in me that beareth not fruit HE taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, HE purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.  


(When we do That Word, we go in a way of godliness.)

4 Abide in me (live in my word), and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

* Jesus says: If ye continue in MY Word, then are ye MY disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.



We, who are of God, will have a Word from God called to our mind from time to time.  As we focus on that Word, God is showing us what to do concerning the issues of this present life.  

And as we keep doing that Word, we will later know the truth of the situation with which we are dealing.

John 8:31-32  

31  Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

* Jesus (The Word) is our light to show us what to do as we walk in this present world.



 

This world stumbles about in the darkness of the wisdom of their minds and in the way of men of this world.  


We have a light of wisdom from God which the world can't even imagine.

John 8:12   Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me (the Word) shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

We are led by the wisdom that is from God and that gives clarity to us in times of trouble.  God not only shows us what to do but how to do that which HE authors for us.

In 1980, I was asleep in the night when a very loud trumpet like voice spoke 3 words to me:  "Hartford, Seattle, KWJS"

When I looked it up, I found KWJS to be a radio station.  

I said to God, "Are YOU telling me to go on radio?  I wouldn't know how to do that."

So the Holy Spirit brought the following information to my mind which would show me how to do "that".

In the form of a thought, I heard, "Call the radio station manager."

That same morning I called station KWJS and asked to speak to the manager.  He came on the phone immediately.  I said, "God might be showing me to go on radio.  How would you do that?"

The station manager said, "Make an audition tape 29 1/2 minutes long and send it to me and if you fit our broadcasting, we will offer you a contract."

I made a tape that same morning and sent it to the radio station manager.  

Within 5 days I was broadcasting exhortations for the church on radio KWJS.

When we hear a Word from God, we have a sure thing and we can go forward with assurance that we are walking in the will of God doing that which God wants us to do.  That Word given us by God is our light.

Proverbs 4:18-19  But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.
