* Why does it matter?

Many, who say they are Christians say it really doesn't matter, when confronted with small details about Bible.  So why would it matter.  It matters because it shows us which people are antichrist in the church today and which churches are antichrists.

Those who care about the small details in the Bible are the Christians.  The others who do not care are antichrists in the churches.

Examples:

*****

I was looking for a church to attend.  I visited a small non-denominational church where pastor was speaking to a group of people.  As pastor spoke, he said,  "Sarah and Hagar were 1/2 sisters."

I was surprised for I had never seen that in Bible.

I called pastor the following day and asked him where that was in Bible.  Pastor said, "I can't remember where it is in the Bible."

I told pastor it was very important to me and I asked him if he would look it up and tell his secretary where this was in Bible and have her call me and tell me.

Pastor became very quiet for a few seconds.  Then pastor became very angry and exploded and yelled, "All right.  It's not in the Bible."

Why is such a small detail like this important to me?

It is important for it shows that pastor is antichrist in the church!

II Thessalonians 2

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of the Lord) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

(Churches would fall away from scripture.)

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

***

One time I mentioned Pharaoh and his men drowning in the Red Sea.  This man, to whom I was speaking said, "Pharaoh didn't drown in the Red Sea.  In "The Ten Commandments" (a movie), Pharaoh was standing on the bank of the sea when his men drowned."

I told this man, a Methodist, that the Bible shows Pharaoh died in the Red Sea.

I was going to get a Bible to show him when he said, "It doesn't really matter."

But it mattered to me what the Bible says.

This man who didn't care what the Bible said showed himself to be one of the church antichrists who don't care about scripture.

***

A couple from one of the single classes at Pam Padgett's former church were planning to get married.  But this woman had been divorced.  Pam took scripture to this woman to show her the Bible said she would commit adultery if she married as a divorced woman.

The woman replied she didn't really care what the Bible said.  (antichrist)

Pam told the man if he married the divorced woman he would commit adultery according to Bible.  The man replied, "I'll think about it."  (But he went ahead with the wedding ... antichrist)

Pam told the woman who was to be maid of honor that if this couple married it would be adultery according to the Bible.

The maid of honor said she knew it would but they would marry anyway so she was going ahead with being maid of honor.  (antichrist)

Antichrist goes in opposite way to Bible.

***

I told a Catholic woman that Jesus said, "Call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven."   Matthew 23:9

She thanked me for the message but continued at the Catholic church calling these men "Father."  (antichrist)

Titus 3

9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;

11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

***

Details from Bible which are ignored by church goers show these people to be the end time antichrists so we can depart from them and not be destroyed by them.

II Corinthians 6

14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean; and I will receive you.

18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

***

Two things are important as we go from this point in time and arrive at the point where Jesus returns and God brings the great tribulation upon this earth.

* We must be willing to identify those antichrist persons who are among us so we can avoid them.

* We must follow those specific scriptures which are brought to us by the Holy Spirit of God.  Those scriptures are like stepping stones leading us through a wilderness area.  If we follow those scriptures, doing those instructions, we will be exactly where we should be when Jesus returns.

*****

* The great tribulation will continue over many days, or possibly even years, when it does come. It will not be over quickly.

In the Coronavirus, we, in USA,  were shut up in our homes for 3 months and we barely survived.

One plague of the great tribulation is five months and there are 14 plagues.  The endurance will be incredible during the great tribulation.

The elect of God will barely survive.

Jesus said:

Matthew 24

21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

By this, we know some of the elect will go through the days of the great tribulation and those plagues that God is sending upon this earth.

Also in one plague we see this:

Revelation 9

3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

By this we see some who have "the seal of God" in their foreheads will be living on this earth during the plagues that are coming.

If any of us happen to be one of those, we will have to be able to endure the plagues.

How to endure between now and then?

Some church goers don't seem to understand Jesus is "The Word."

Prayer to God:

Luke 21:36   Jesus says:  Watch ye therefore, and pray always ...  that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Watch what you are doing daily ... Pray over all things that concern you or trouble you ... Pray over all that you are considering doing on this earth ... Allow God to estabilish your thoughts.

As we watch and pray, we are put in a position whereby we are accounted worthy to escape all these things that are coming upon this earth, the great tribulation ... and we stand before the Son of Man.

***

Watch what you are doing daily.  Conform to the instruction of that scripture which God calls to your attention.  Meditate in the Word of God.  Do the Word of God.  Continue doing the Word of God.

John 15   Jesus says:

1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

2 Every branch in ME that beareth not fruit HE (God) taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, HE (God) purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

(If we fail to bear fruit, we are removed by God.)

3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

(God speaks to us by HIS Spirit.  HE causes the word which we need to follow at that specific time to stand out to us.  Usually it is a scripture.  We meditate on that Word and do that Word.)

4 Abide in ME, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in ME.

(We must live daily in that Word for the Word is Jesus.)

5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without ME ye can do nothing.

We live in those scriptures brought to us by the Holy Spirit of God.  Meditate on them day and night.  Do those scriptures.  Continue doing those scriptures.

* Be not deceived: Evil communications corrupt good manners

If someone in a church group turns from a portion of scripture and goes another way, that person will bring "evil communications" to us in his way of life.

We cannot stay around such a person as this unless he will correct himself if we admonish him with godly correction.

I Corinthians 15:33   Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

If we warn that person and he rejects our warning, we will be pulled down in grief over him, and we must not deceive ourselves into thinking that we will be able to help him by being with him.

It is God who teaches each of us.

If a person is not being taught by God, we will not be able to reach him.

The fact that God is not teaching him means he is not of God.

We will waste ourselves if we keep trying to give him instruction from God.  Instead we must do the following:

Titus 3

10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;

11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

Don't keep trying to send messages to him.
If he rejects the first or second message, just walk away from him.  It is so important to our safety to learn to stop sending messages after he rejects one or two messages.  Just do the above scripture!

Words spoken by people stick inside us like a seed and at some point bear fruit in us unless we choose to root up the concept by that given us by God.

*****

Example:  Pam Padgett's car title.  (a fun story ... but a very good example showing the power words have to grow and to develop in you and to cause you to act on those words at a later time.)

Catholic friend who calls "Priest" Father:

Jesus said:

Matthew 23:8-9   But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.  And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

I went to Barnes and Nobel book store and looked at a Catholic Bible to see if verse 9 is in their Bible.  It is!  I was shocked that the Catholics put this verse in their Bible since they teach their people to call their own ministers "Father."

I sent this scripture to that Catholic friend.

After about 3 weeks, she wrote to me saying:  "Thank you for your message."

But she didn't change her way.  She kept going to Catholic church and continued calling these men "Father".  She showed she did not care what Bible says.  This is antichrist.  I'm no longer communicating with her.

I felt God saying to me:  "The day she comes telling you that she did something because of a specific scripture, pay attention to her."

***

I once told my mother, "You can go down.  But I'm not going with you."

After that, my mother changed her way to conform to scriptures.

I'm sure she was born again before she died.

James 4:4   Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

(friend:  one who supports your ways and assists you in the way you are going. We will not be able to approve people when they go in worldly ways because these ways are opposite to the ways of God.  Therefore to try to be a friend of this world will make us into an enemy of God. )

Ways shown us by scriptures:

* Matthew 5:32  The man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

* Romans 7:1-3  The divorced woman who remarries shall be called an adulteress.

* Matthew 5:32  The man who divorces a faithful wife causes her to commit adultery and will be guilty of her adultery if she remarries after he divorces her.

* I Corinrhians 7:10-11   And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:
But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

* Romans 1:26-27  God turns both homosexuals and lesbians over to "vile affections" for which they will be judged in the day of judgment, receiving "meet" for their acts unless they repent and turn from such.

* I Corinthians 6:9-10  The unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God.  Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate (homosexuals), nor abusers of themselves with mankind,  Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

* I Corinthians 6:15-19   When you have sexual intercourse, you become one flesh with that other person even if she is a prostitute.

Ephesians 4:29  Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

We measure our words by this:

If I speak this, will it cause people to glorify God?  Will it cause the listener to be built up in things of God?

* Jesus says: Be wise as serpents, but harmless as doves. Mt. 10

Don't miss the signs.  They show you the truth about themselves, if only we will listen to what they say and recognize the truth that comes from their own mouths and their own ways of life.

Therefore when Jesus sent out His disciples, HE said to them:

Matthew 10

16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

17 But beware of men:

Examples given in this podcast:

*****

Humans love being wise in their own eyes:

Pam Padgett, member of the body of Christ, had a 17 year old car to sell.  To buy that car new today would cost $55,000.  It has 75,000 miles, good Premium brand tires, the motor is in very good condition, Pam priced the car at $6,500.  The car has had oil change every 3,000 miles and has been well taken care of according to the Acura dealer manual.

A young man in his 20's wanted to buy the car.  He said he had $5000 but needed to borrow the rest from a bank.  He asked Pam, "If I paid cash today, how much would you sell the car for today."

Pam replied, "$6,300,"

But he didn't pay the price that same day!

Thus Pam is free from that price.

Pam let herself get into a trap by two things:  Kelly's Blue Book said that year Acura was worth $6,300.  But that would be any Acura.  Pam's car has premium Continental tires with very little mileage.  The care of her car is excellent.  Her car is worth more than the Blue Book price.

When I learned this young man is in his 20's, and needed a car, and had to borrow money to buy this car, I felt strongly he was a worldly young man who lived as the world lives, "up to his gills in debt."

I kept being drawn to Proverbs 6.

2 Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.

3 Do this now, my son, and deliver thyself, ...

4 Give not sleep to thine eyes, nor slumber to thine eyelids.

5 Deliver thyself as a roe from the hand of the hunter, and as a bird from the hand of the fowler.

Pam got herself into a trap whereby she was feeding this young man's greed and pride.

Also Pam learned this young man was lying to her.

His aunt is a neighbor of Pam's.  The aunt (Catholic) told Pam the young man had gotten the additional money he needed from the bank to buy the car.  He told Pam he had $5000 now but that the bank wouldn't loan the rest to him, but that he should be able to get all the money "next week".  Pam told this to the aunt.

God called to Pam's attention that this young man asked several days ago how much she would take for the car if he paid cash "that day."  (He did not pay cash "that day."  Pam is no longer bound to the price she would have taken "that same day.")

When Pam called him, he sent a message that he was out playing golf and would get back in touch with her later when he finished his golf game.

(It takes money to play golf.  He said he had to go to bank and borrow money.  Yet he is out playing golf.  Let him learn a lesson from this if possible.)

God was leading Pam to "free herself".

Pam sent text to this young man telling him the price of the car now is $6,500.  If he wants to buy the car expect to pay that.  She is putting the car on the Internet listing immediately.

Pam will also send a copy of her text message to the aunt who lives in Pam's neighborhood.

Pam is doing Proverbs 6.

Update:  After Pam sent text message to the young man telling him price of car would now be $6,500  he said he would be over tomorrow at 3 pm to give her the money and get the car.  Then Pam had 5 additional people contact her, from local Internet neighborhood notice of car, wanting to drive the car.  She listed it as "sold".

I had an house for sale in Texas.  It was a very high quality home, truly custom designed and custom built.

During the height of Coronavirus, I turned to God and asked God if there was anything I should do about that house in Texas.  I felt strongly led to put the house on special sale for 1 week.  I reduced the price of the house by $50,000 immediately and told my realtor this was a one week only sale.

Immediately someone wanted to buy the house.

They paid to have the house inspected.  The inspector who is paid to find problems found a few very minor problems.  These people wanted me to pay and fix those problems.  They also wanted me to pay for a $600 warrantee on the house.

I felt the house was such a low price I was sorry they bought the house.

Then they backed out!

So I was free.

I put the house back on the market and added $7,000 to pay for the list of things on the inspector's finding.  I also was charging enough to cover the $600 warrantee.

The people who wanted to buy the house returned wanting to buy it a second time but now the price was $7,000 more than the "special sale" price.

My new realtor explained to them that was a "one week" special sale price and they passed it up and now the price of the house was $7,000 more.

They paid the new price.

It ended up costing them more than $4,000 ... for had they bought the house on their first offer and taken care of those minor repairs themselves, it would have cost less than $3,000 to pay for the repairs.  By the time they made their second offer, we had already fixed the list of repair items and it cost us a little over $2,000.

They paid the extra $7,000.

They still got a wonderful house at a bargain.

We closed on the house May 15, 2020.

***

Be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.

People so often love to tell you how much they got an item for, how wise they were, being wise in their own eyes and wise in the eyes of those around them.

I rarely hear anyone speak of buying something at the full price.

For about 7 years, I owned a small business in Dallas, Texas ... American Indian Arts.

I protected my customers.  I was certain a customer was getting a very fine item and I priced the item according to the fair market value.

(Customers should respect the expertise of the dealer who spends time and effort to acquire knowledge concerning the item.)

Otherwise, let them buy from motel sales people who come through the city.  Let them be their own expert.

Once in a while, someone would ask me to lower the price of a piece of American Indian jewelry.  I would say to that person, "Would you go into Neiman-Marcus and ask them to lower the price on an item?"  (After I said that, they always paid the full price at my shop.)

People can be very greedy and prideful.  I certainly want no part of their greed or pride.  I keep a very firm reign when I price something, even now, especially now.

***

Be not deceived by them.  Listen to what they say!

Recently I purchased a sound system for my new car.  I went to a reputable dealer who handled very high level sound equipment.  I was not looking for a bargain but for quality.  I was certain they would produce quality.

That doesn't mean you should be taken in by them.

The first day, when we decided on the equipment and price, the store manager said, "Well ... I must be getting back now to my other customers."  I was not deceived by this manager.  He got what he wanted from me and now it was over.  I gave him a $1500 deposit.  He was to order the special amp and sub-woofer.

The manager said it would take 5 days to get the equipment.  I didn't believe him.  I felt he was leaving time to work in other jobs.  I know how fast we can get things over internet, one to two days delivery.

He first said it would take 2 days to do the job.  Then after we paid the down payment and he had our money, he said it would take 3 days.  On the 3rd day, he said the car wasn't ready yet and "they wanted to do a good job", so it would now be another day.

That didn't matter to me, but I was not deceived by this store manager.  I have seen contractors do this.  They get my job and then stop my job to do other work.  I think that was the case with the sound equipment.  This is a way of this world in business.  Nail down the job and push other jobs before your job.  I can live with that.  But I don't have to be deceived by their reasons for the delay.

"Wise as serpents.  Harmless as doves."

I told Pam several days ago, that I did not plan to go with her when she picked up the car.  I did not want to see this store manager again.  After watching the way he dealt, I was sure I did not want to be with him again.  I do not harm him but neither do I want to be around him for I know what he is.

John 8

44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Be not deceived by them.

I just keep dealing fairly and honestly with them.

But don't fall into their trap where they try to deceive me by their "fair sounding words".

Jesus said:  Beware of men.

(The store manager just called and now they want to keep the car until Monday, June 29.)

I told Pam to tell him, "Okay. But we want the car for sure by Monday."

We have to get new tires on this new car.  It vibrates.

I think I recall that my dad always got new tires on his new cars because the manufacture didn't put as high grade tire on their vehicles as my dad wanted.

Proverbs 3

6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

* According to Bible, things we can expect to see before the second coming of Jesus.

Jesus said the powers of the heaven would be "shaken" ... And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.  Luke 21:25-27

Many years ago, God gave me a dream where the earth slipped on it's axis.  People were terrified.  A newscaster was trying to report what happened but he was too frightened to continue his broadcast so he just got up and left ... The government leaders were meeting with scientists and religious leaders to see what could be done about this matter.

Nothing can be done by man to stop that which is coming upon this earth.

The thing the believers can do between now and then is to get their own lives in good spiritual condition ... for it is coming!

Luke 21   Jesus says:

25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

***

First comes the signs in the heavens.

Peter spoke of this in the following scripture:

Acts 2

17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:

21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

(The name of the Lord is "The Word of God" ... I believe Jesus is coming to take to Himself those who follow the scriptures and connect with God through prayer daily, settling all concerns with God in prayer.)

Joel 1

15 Alas for the day! for the day of the Lord is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.

16 Is not the meat cut off before our eyes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of our God?

17 The seed is rotten under their clods, the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered.

18 How do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate.

19 O Lord, to thee will I cry: for the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame hath burned all the trees of the field.

20 The beasts of the field cry also unto thee: for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness.

In the first of the plagues that are to come in the great tribulation, we see "fire and hail" ... and we see trees and grass destroyed by that which God sends.

I think the cattle of the fields will suffer, as well as the humans, when the wrath of God comes upon this earth.

Those things coming are not caused by man but by God.  And no one can stop that which is ordained by God to come upon this earth.

***

The first plague of the great tribulation:

Revelation 8

6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

We can see how this could affect the pastures of the field and how Joel could have prophesied about the cattle as follows:

Joel 1

Joel 2

Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand;

2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.

3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.

10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:

11 And the Lord shall utter His voice before his army: for His camp is very great: for He is strong that executeth His word: for the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.

32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered:

(The name of the Lord is The Word.)

I think this shows us to follow the scripture right now, between this time and the coming of the various events where the heaven is shaken and Jesus returns.  For Jesus returns for the Word's sake and those who follow "The Word" will be gathered up unto Jesus in the air and removed from this earth.

***

Joel 2:15

15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:

16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation,

I consider that I have been "blowing" one trumpet after another with these Podcasts during the past weeks.  I've even thought of these messages which God is currently giving me as trumpets sounding the alarm so that those who can see and hear can prepare themselves for that which is coming.

None of us know the exact day, month, year when the day of the Lord comes.  But Jesus keeps telling us it is like seeing the leaves on the trees for when these begin to show up don't we know the winter is ending and another season coming?

The increase in sins on this earth show us the wrath of God must not be too far behind for the wrath comes in order to judge the sins.

Joel 2:21  Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the Lord will do great things.

It reminds me of how the Lord did great things in Egypt and with Pharaoh in the plagues that God sent to judge the land of Egypt and to deliver the children of Israel in the Book of Exodus.

Joel 3

13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.

Revelation 14

6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment is come: and worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of His indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.

17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.

18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.

19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

Joel 3

14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.

(The individuals who say they are Christians must decide to follow the Word of God, the Holy scriptures and they must actually do the Word of God in all the days remaining on this earth.)

15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.

16 The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of His people, and the strength of the children of Israel.

(The "Lord" is "The Word" ... The Word shall be the hope of His people.)

A great many church people today do not put their hope in The Word and they do not follow The Word.  They follow the doctrines of men and people in the church groups.  This will not work.

I seem to recall many of the other of the Old Testament prophets speaking of the day of the Lord.  But I would think these scriptures would get your attention on the matter of  the coming great tribulation and the second coming of Jesus.

Luke 21   Jesus says:

33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but MY words shall not pass away.

34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting
(over indulgence), and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always  ..... that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

(We need to watch that which we are doing ... and pray always, connecting with God, turning to God now, seeking HIS wisdom through prayer ... taking all our daily concerns to God one problem at a time and allowing God to show us what to do about the issue of this life which causes us concern... and then doing that which God has shown us to do.)

My concern is you, the church.  I am often troubled when individuals send me emails, for they think themselves to be religious, but I see problems because God shows me problems.  So I bring warning to you and ask God to help me concerning my trouble over you.  And each time I pray over the trouble you bring to me, God restores my soul.

Prayer is the way to go!

Philippians 4

6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

II Peter 3

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Here is a graphic illustration of the open vision God gave me on June 21, 2020 of the antichrist people who come to me saying they are Christians but they are really vermin.

* Many Christians today suffer greatly because they fail to apply the Word of God to their own lives.

Christians often deceive themselves for they hear scriptures or read Bible, but they fail to do the Word spoken in the scriptures.  They fail to grow spiritually.  And like a baby, they can only take milk and not the strong meat of the word.

Hebrews 5

For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

My cousin, who is now 97 years old, has been in Church of Christ since she was a baby.  She faithfully attends their meetings.  But she does not apply basic scripture to her life.  And therefore she lives tormented.

Only when we apply scripture to our lives can we live in peace and joy, overcoming through God by the application of the Word to our lives.

Example:

My cousin told me she does well during the day but gets down emotionally in the evenings.  (Her husband died 10 years ago.)

I replied: "When you begin to feel the problem coming on, if you will turn to God and ask HIM for help, God will help you."

I shared the following scripture with her.

Philippians 4

6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

A few days after this, my cousin wrote to me and she said:  "I do well in the daytime but in the evenings, I have trouble."

This cousin will not apply the word of God in her own life.

She seems to trust in her church, but she shows that she does not trust in the Word of God.

When this is the case, the individual will grow weaker and weaker.

James 1:22   But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Also, concerning my cousin, I put her away from me, not communicating with her again because she had shown me she would not do that word I gave to her by the Spirit of God.

Titus 3

10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;

11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

Examine yourself:  Which scripture are you trying to live right now?

If your mind is a blank and you are not trying to do any scripture, you are like a person who has fallen asleep ... dead and dying.

For our life is in Jesus, the Word.  In HIM there is life.

But if we are doing no "word", no scripture, where is the life?  It is probably in your church group.  For when you go to church you "feel" like you do good, but you grow weaker and weaker, often telling your problems to other people and burdening people with your troubles, rather than turning to God and growing in God as HE shows you what to do and you do what you feel God has shown you to do.

If you continue in that way of life, taking pleasure in your church rather than in the scriptures, God will turn you over to a strong delusion and will bring destruction upon you because you refused the love of the truth that you might be saved.

II Thessalonians 2

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

God turns them over to a reprobate mind who refuse to keep HIM (The Word) in their knowledge.

Romans 1:28    And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Every time we do a scripture, we are recreated in the image of Jesus, the Word.

During the early months of the Coronavirus in March, 2020, I began watching television news.  In a very few days, I found myself to be troubled, where before I had been living in peace.  The troubling was because of the newscasters, not because of the virus.  I found the newscasters trying to spread hatred against the President.  (I am very non political, but I do not want to hate whichever person is president.)  I knew I had to get myself free from television newscasts.

I saw a scripture which I knew would free me if I could "do" that scripture.

So I began keeping these verses before me day and night and doing the instructions.

Proverbs 1

10   If sinners entice thee, consent thou not.

15  Walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:

16 For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.

I kept Proverbs 1 before me day and night.  I thought about it in the morning and again as I went to bed in the evening.  I began thinking of ways I could apply these instruction to my life.

In approximately two days, I removed all news channels from my TV guide.  So when I was looking for something to see on television, news channels did not appear on the viewing listing on screen.

I began reading Bible in the hours where I had been watching TV news.

In June, 2020,when I wondered what was happening with Coronavirus, what were the numbers in the cases, I had the following thought brought to my mind which I believe was from God.  "In September you'll be able to tell by the number of people who are in the football stadiums."  I knew if the fans were allowed back into the stadium, the situation was lessened.  I knew to control my curiosity and focus on my own life which was not changing at all by the virus.  I still read Bible, prayed, heard from God, wrote on our blog and recorded Podcasts.  Just keep doing your job!

So that is what I did.

Psalm 119:105   Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

I'm still working on Proverbs 1:10;15-16 ... trying to order my life by these instructions.

I look at these 3 verses when I awaken each morning.  I think about what I am doing throughout the day, often structuring my activities by these verses, doing what they say to do.

When I go to bed at night, I look again at these verses ... thinking of, "Did I do these things this day?"

James 1:25   But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

I just keep judging my life by Proverbs 1:10;15-16 ... doing those things appropriate to the instruction of these verses of scripture.

In time, I know there will be another scripture to do.  For now this is still the scripture for me to do.

I know the following is true:

Joshua 1

8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

I've been living this way for the past 40+ years and have had very good success and have grown in ways of God by living the various scriptures called to my mind by the Holy Spirit according to the needs in my life at that moment.

It is a great joy to me to have a scripture to follow ... or to have a word of instruction.

Also I am following these things:

* A word given to Pam Padgett in January 2020,   "Podcast"   Followed by a dream given to me in early February, 2020.  I opened my front door and kittens were everywhere.  Some were starving to death.  I went into my garage and there were more starving kittens, just waiting for me to feed them.

I prayed, asking God what this meant and I heard ... "The church"

I knew God was leading me to begin Podcasts to exhort the church.  So immediately we found how to do this, bought recording equipment, put these Podcasts on our daily blog, and we continue to present these exhortations for the church as I record, by faith, that which I believe God is showing me to record.

The following scriptures also lead me constantly and have for the past 40 years.

Hebrews 3

12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

Hebrews 10:25

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

(exhort means:  to urge earnestly by advice and warning.)

So this is what I do.

What scriptures are you following at this point in time?

John 15  Jesus says ...  I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

John 8:31-32  Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in MY word, then are ye MY disciples indeed;
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
