Podcast: The devil is a liar and there is no truth in the destructive thoughts that he brings to our mind




The devil brings thoughts to our mind to steal, to kill, and to destroy us.

When such thoughts come, we must learn to resist these thoughts, knowing they are of devils.

One way to evaluate such thoughts is to take each destructive thought to God in prayer, asking HIM:  "What about this, God?"

John 8:44  (Jesus says:)  He (the devil) was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

The devil will eat you alive with thoughts if you allow this to happen.

I Peter 5:8-9  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:  Whom resist stedfast in the faith,

2 Corinthians 10:3-5  For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:  (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

1 (When) The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

* A few days ago, I found something to be difficult.  When I laid the issue out before God and told HIM how I felt and ask HIM what I was supposed to do about "this", HE gave me an idea.  When I did what HE showed me it worked!  When I pour out the issue before God, HE helps me and then there is no want.

*  It is my assignment from God to edify the church on blogs and on Podcasts and in books. I had just finished a long project in the Book of Proverbs.  I didn't have anything else to say.  When I took the matter to God, HE showed me what to do next.  And I found there was plenty of green pastures for the sheep to strengthen themselves.  And God showed me exactly what to write and which exhortations to present.  

* If I find empty time in my day and don't seem to have purpose ahead of me, when I talk to God about the "lack" HE brings ideas to fill my time and to satisfy me, leading me in the way to go.

When I turn to God with the issue and make the Lord my shepherd, there is no want.

The problems come when I'm not exhorting the church, not engaged in doing my assignment.  Then I begin to get bored and wander from channel to channel on TV finding no thing that is of real interest.  (Trying to put myself in some pasture and finding little to nothing of interest.) When I begin talking to God, making HIM my shepherd, HE leads me to green pastures which are satisfying to me.

If I turn on the TV, I often see turbulent waters.  When I turn to God, we come upon waters that are still, calm, peaceful.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3 He restoreth my soul: 

When I turn to God after having been with other people or having been disturbed by reports of happenings going on in this world, I pray what David prayed ...

Psalm 51:10  Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

I know God can do that for me.  I wouldn't know what to do to restore my soul.  But each time I turn to God for HIM to cleanse my heart and restore my soul, HE knows exactly what I need and HE always helps me ... cleaning the spots from the sayings of the world off my garment, and setting me at peace again when I turn to HIM.


HE leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for HIS name's sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for THOU art with me; THY rod and thy staff they comfort me.

God uses HIS word to keep me on HIS road so I will not fall off into the ditch.  The key for me is always HIS words.  When I focus on HIS Word which HE gives me, I am stilled, calm, at peace, and restored to truth.

5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

There are many doors to destruction.

I Corinthians 6:9-10  Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate (homosexuals), nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

When a person dies, I often think, "And what NOW?"

Those who hate "the Word" often call the Bible legalistic.

They think they should be free to do that which they want to do.

This is one of the many gates to destruction.

The Word is the way of life and "few" there be that find it.

God once said to me:  "Many want to be free to sin."

"Few want to be free from sin."

Following "the Word" makes us free from sin.

The Word says:

Concerning fornication:

💥  Flee fornication.  Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.  (I Cor. 6:18)

💥  What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith HE (The Word), shall be one flesh.  (I Cor. 6:16)  At the time of sexual intercourse, the two are made one even when you have sex with a prostitute.

Concerning divorce and remarriage:

💥  But I (the Word) say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.  (Mt. 5:32)

* The man who divorces "a faithful wife", causes her to commit adultery if she remarries.

* The man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

💥  And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:  But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.  (I Cor. 7:10-11)  This is a commandment of the Lord.  The divorced woman has 2 choices:  remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband

💥  The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.  (I Cor. 7:39)

💥  For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.  3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man. (Romans 7:2-3)

*  The only time a married woman is free to remarry is if her husband dies.  Otherwise she will commit adultery and the man who marries her, as a divorced woman, will commit adultery.

💥  And HE (the Word) saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.

12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.  (Mark 10:11-12)  And the man who marries the divorced woman commits adultery.  (Mt. 5:32)

Concerning homosexuals & lesbians:

Romans 1

21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified HIM not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

They were not born homosexual or lesbian, but the Word says God gave them over to these "vile affections".

The Word says: But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.  (Mk.10:6)

Concerning abortion:

2 Timothy 3

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.


Without natural affections:  Mothers killing their own babies.  Abortion ... and homosexuals & lesbians.

The Word leads us into an abundant life.  Flesh and devils lead us in ways of destruction.

John 10:10  (Jesus, the Word says:)  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: 
I (the Word) am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

John 14  ( Jesus,The Word says:)

1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in ME  (in the Word).

2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

6 Jesus saith unto him, I (the Word) am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by ME.

God gave a prophecy to the prophet Ezekiel concerning the New Testament Church and those who are born again.

Ezekiel 36  God says:

23 And I will sanctify MY great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

27 And I will put MY spirit within you, and cause you to walk in MY statutes, and ye shall keep MY judgments, and do them.

Podcast: The end time "falling away" spoken of by the apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2

 

 
In the Bible, the apostle Paul told us in the end time churches would fall away from scripture, speaking perverse things, (Acts 20:29-30), and men would set themselves up as gods in the church. (2 Thessalonians 2)

This is that spirit of antichrist that moves into church groups and sets up doctrines opposite to doctrines of Christ in the Bible.

It is antichrist in the churches of the end times.

Acts 20:29-30  (Paul speaking to the elders of the church at Ephesus)  For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day (of the Lord) shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

This "falling away" happens before Jesus returns.

God said to me:  "The falling away are not people leaving the churches.  The falling away are churches leaving the scriptures."

This falling away from scripture has been taking place in various churches for several decades and is all over this world now.

The stage is set for the returning of Jesus since the falling away of 2 Thessalonians is happening in churches today all over the world ... churches falling away from various scriptures and setting up doctrines opposite to the scripture in their church groups.
