*** When women can speak in the church and examples in Bible of NT apostles and prophets.

Some churches teach today that women cannot speak in the church.  (What God showed me about this.)

Some churches teach today that there are no longer apostles or prophets.  (Examples showing contrary in the NT Bible.)

From heaven, Jesus calls HIS ministers and puts them into the ministry offices of apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher.  (Eph. 4:8;11-12)

Several sections of scripture in book of Acts show prophets working in the NT church and naming prophets by name as an example for church today.

Several examples of prophets working in the church are presented in the book of Acts.

Acts 11:27   And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch.

Acts 21:10  And as we tarried there many days, there came down from Judaea a certain prophet, named Agabus.

Acts 11:28   And there stood up one of them named Agabusand signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.

Acts 15:32 And Judas and Silas, being prophets also themselves, exhorted the brethren with many words, and confirmed them.

(Judas but not Iscariot)

Acts 15:40 And Paul chose Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God.

(Silas was taken on ministry trips by Paul and several times in the book of Acts we read the name Silas.)

Acts 16:25  And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

Acts 16:29  Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,

Acts 17:14 And then immediately the brethren sent away Paul to go as it were to the sea: but Silas and Timotheus (evangelist) abode there still.

Acts 17:10   And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.

Acts 17:4  And some of them believed, and consorted with Paul and Silas; and of the devout Greeks a great multitude, and of the chief women not a few.

Acts 18:5   And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed in the spirit, and testified to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.

Acts 16:19 And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers,

Acts 17:15  And they that conducted Paul brought him unto Athens: and receiving a commandment unto Silas and Timotheus for to come to him with all speed, they departed.

Acts 15:22  Then pleased it the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul (apostle/teacher) and Barnabas (apostle); namely, Judas (prophet) surnamed Barsabas, and Silas (prophet), chief men among the brethren:

New Testament apostles appointed by Jesus from heaven and named in Bible:  Paul & Barnabas

New Testament prophets appointed by Jesus from heaven and named in Bible:  Silas, Agabus, Judas (not Iscariot)

Today's apostles work to keep scripture in the churches and to restore scripture where the apostate end-time churches have removed scripture.

Today's prophets carry corrections to the church and bring exhortations and teachings of Christ from the scripture.
