Many people delight in money, taking a better paying job.
I never followed after money.
Before I was born again and a Christian, I followed after my interests.
After I was born again, I followed after scriptures, one verse at a time.
... "Owe no man anything." (Romans 13:8)
So I got out of debt. Then I felt God was leading me to stay out of debt. Wait until I had money to pay before buying cars or buying house. I never took out a mortgage. God show me other ways to go. But I remained true to that which I heard from Holy Spirit. Resisting wisdom of world. I rented apartment until I could pay cash for house. (Sounds like foolishness to the world.)
It takes faith to follow God by scripture. It is often not wise in eyes of world.

Many years ago, I visited a church group on a Wednesday night. It was "testimony" night where people shared what God had told them and shared dreams God had given them.
Spiritual Gifts from God:
I Corinthians 12
8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as HE (God) will.

At one of the churches I attended as a new Christian, our Bible teacher always said: "Does anyone have a WORD from the Lord." And we were invited to share that Word.
I believe this is what God intended us to do when we gather as the church. The Holy Spirit is free to share as God wills in the church gathering.
We will attempt to do that at these meetings!
