* II Thessalonians 2: Antichrist comes into the church before the return of Jesus.

In 1982, God called my attention to the writing of the apostle Paul concerning antichrist, and where Paul spoke of the "falling away" that must come before Jesus returns, God said to me:  "The falling away are not people leaving the churches but the falling away are churches departing from portions of scripture."

Then in 2017, God expanded this concept by telling me, "The restraint against antichrist was the scriptures.  When churches removed scriptures and set up another doctrine, this opened the way for antichrist to move into the churches."

Here are the scriptures showing us the working of antichrist in the churches before Jesus returns.

KJV ... II Thessalonians 2

Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto Him,

2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

(Churches falling away from scripture and setting up other doctrines. This has come in our lifetime and continues in the churches until the return of Jesus.  This falling away had to happen before Jesus could return.  It has happened and is happening.)

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

(Antichrist comes through the churches.)

NASB

3 Let no one in any way deceive you, for it (the day of the Lord) will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.

This falling away, apostasy, has already happened in the churches and continues to happen and will happen until Jesus returns and the great tribulation of God comes upon this earth.

6 And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed.

(What did restrain antichrist?  Jesus, the Holy Scriptures, The Word, restrained antichrist.  But the churches falling away from the Word removed that restraint against antichrist so he could move into the church and set up his own doctrines.)

7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way.

(Jesus, the Word, the scriptures, was taken out of the way so antichrist could move into the churches and take over with his own doctrine.)

8 Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming;

9 that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders,

KJV

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

But the elect of God will not go along with the doctrines of antichrist which have been set up in churches today and they will depart from such, receiving reward to themselves by God.

13 But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

14 Whereunto HE called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.  (says Paul)

16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,

17 Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

We do not forgive antichrist in the church.

We depart from antichrist in the church.

Titus 3

10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;

11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

Paul said he knew after his departing from this earth, men would rise up in the church "speaking perverse things" to draw away men after themselves.  (Acts 20:30) This would be "the falling away" (the apostasy in the churches at the end time) and the appearance of antichrist in the "temple of God" in the churches.  (II Thessalonians 2:3-4)

Thus came all the denominations, dividing the body of Christ.

And Paul said it would get worse and worse toward the end and toward that coming of Jesus.  (II Timothy 3:13)

Today there are even people who say they cannot follow scripture because they have "their own doctrine" at their churches.

***

To the elders of the church at Ephesus Paul says:

Acts 20

29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

Destruction is everywhere today in the churches as they have "fallen away" from various scriptures and have set up other doctrines.

It is antichrist in the churches today.

The great tribulation and Jesus comes next.
