* Jesus says: "No man can come to God except through ME" (The Word)

John 14:1-6  Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in ME.  In MY Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

5 Thomas saith unto HIM, Lord, we know not whither THOU goest; and how can we know the way?

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by ME.

The way is "The Word" of God.  When we hear from God the Father, we have "The Word" which is the way to God.

Jesus is The Word.  From the beginning Jesus was "The Word".  Jesus was with God as "The Word" even before Jesus came to this world in the form of Jesus a man.

Today, Jesus is The Word that was with God from the beginning.

John 1:1-5   In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.  All things were made by HIM; and without HIM was not any thing made that was made.  In HIM was life; and the life was the light of men.

5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

10-14  HE  (Jesus)  was in the world, and the world was made by HIM, and the world knew HIM not.

11 HE came unto HIS own, and HIS own received HIM not.

12 But as many as received HIM, to them gave HE power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on HIS name (The Word):

13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld HIS glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Galatians 5  (works of the flesh vs. works of the Spirit)

19-21   Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.  (following that which the Spirit shows us to do at that specific point in time.)
