* Mini Podcast: HE (God) leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for HIS name's sake. (Psa. 23:3)

This world approves many things that are not right in the sight of God.

We who are servants of God want to go in the way that is approved by God.

Therefore the apostle Paul says to us:  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.  (Romans 12:2)

We renew our minds to the New Testament Bible.

2 Timothy 3:16-17   All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:  That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

One day I was reading the following scripture:

Isaiah 54:17  No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Our righteousness is of God because that which we are thinking of doing was authored by God so our righteousness is of God for what we are about to do was God's plan and not our own idea!

God says:  Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.  (Joshua 1:9)

Mt. 7:21-23  Jesus says:  Not every one that saith unto ME, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Their religious works were not authored by God.
