* Failure to pray

Did I even pray about this?  often we can't remember.

I Peter 5:6-9   Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that HE may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon HIM (upon God); for HE careth for you.  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:  Whom resist stedfast in the faith.

Focus on the Word God has brought to your attention on the troubling subject.

When you yoke yourself to something that you dread:

Jesus says:

Matthew 11:28-30   Come unto ME, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take MY yoke upon you, and learn of ME; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  For MY yoke is easy, and MY burden is light.

If you dread an appointment, you've made a plan that is not likely of God.  Take it to God in prayer and ask God if you should change the appointment in some way.  Give God time to establish your thoughts.

Proverbs 3:5-7  Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge HIM, and HE shall direct thy paths.  Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

You might want to talk to other humans but remember this:  Humans do not know the future.  The limitations of humans might cause them to give you wrong counsel.

God knows everything:  future, current, past

Ask God:  and then allow HIM to estabilish your thoughts.

God created the heavens and the earth.  God does have a way to communicate with us so we can understand what HE is telling us about the situation.

How to know if an idea is from God:

James 3:17   But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
