* Let the prophets speak.

The apostle Paul said the following instructions to the New Testament church:

"Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.  If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace.  For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.  And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.  For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints."  (I Cor. 14:29-33)

Examples of NT prophets speaking today.

Do we have prophets in the New Testament church today?

Ephesians 4:8;11-14   ...When HE (Jesus) ascended up on high, HE led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men...

11 And HE
(Jesus) gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Instruction to the New Testament church:

I Corinthians 14:29-33  The apostle Paul says:  Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge. If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace. For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted. And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.  For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

God does not "make" any prophet speak.

...  "And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets." The prophet has the choice to speak or not to speak.

Concerning the gathering of the NT church:

I Corinthians 14:40  Let all things be done decently and in order.

***

Women in church taking over with questions:

I Corinthians 14:34-35  Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.

35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

God said to me:  "Look at what these women were doing."

They were asking questions.  This would be out of order.  I believe this is what Paul is speaking of when he commanded the women to keep silence in the churches and that it is a shame for women to speak this way in the church.

Then God took me to Acts 21.  Philip the evangelist had 4 daughters who did prophesy.  Prophesy is for the church.  These daughters would have to speak in the church to prophesy.

Acts 21:8-9   We entered into the house of Philip the evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him.

9 And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy.

To me this confirmed the women in I Corinthians 14 were out of order and asking questions to take over the gathering of the church.

But prophesy would be permitted in the proper time in the gathering of the church.

Hosea 12:13   And by a prophet the Lord brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved.

Prophets help you to get out of traps and help you to stay out of traps.

The religious people always killed the prophets:

Jesus said:

Matthew 23:29-38    Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,

30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.

31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.

32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.

33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:

35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.

37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not

38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

Poison Gas Dream: 1979

In this dream, a man was speaking to a group of people.  I went into the assembly room and sat down to listen.  A second man rushed into the room and said:  "Stop ... Wait ... Can't you see ... It's too late ... It's already begun!"

The people in the room didn't seem to pay any attention to this man but I wanted to know what had already begun.  I looked out the windows and was shocked to see a tall pole with a yellow civil defense warning speaker on top of the pole.  A white gas was coming out of the speaker.  I knew it was a poison gas and it would kill the people.  The gas was coming directly toward us in that room!

I turned to the man who was sitting next to me.  He had a big smile on his face and he was looking attentively at the man who was speaking.  But then I realized this man was a corpse.  He was already dead.

I looked at the other people in the room and they, too, were already dead.

As I sat among them, I felt myself drifting off and I knew this gas from the speaker was killing me too.

Message delivered to Jim Bakker on subject of adultery:

Matthew 5:32 Jesus says:   But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

I Corinthians 7:10-11 The apostle Paul said:  And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:  But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

Mark 10:2-12   And the Pharisees came to HIM (to Jesus), and asked HIM, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting HIM.

3 And HE answered and said unto them, What did Moses command you?

4 And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away.

5 And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.

6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.

7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife;

8 And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh.

9 What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

10 And in the house HIS disciples asked HIM again of the same matter.

11 And HE saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.

12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

Romans 7:1-3   Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?

2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

I Corinthians 7:39-40   The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.

40 But she is happier if she so abide, after my judgment: and I think also that I have the Spirit of God.
