* After he patiently endured, he received the promise of God (Heb. 6:13-15)

We must hold on to those promises of God set forth for us in the Bible, and we refuse to let go of those scriptures, keeping them before our eyes day and night, while continuing to do those instructions in our life.

If we become discouraged and give up and turn from the promises of God, we destroy ourselves and end up with nothing.

Abraham is an example for us to follow:

Hebrews 6:13-15 For when God made promise to Abraham, because HE could swear by no greater, HE sware by Himself,  Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.

15 And so, after he (Abraham) had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

Concerning the end times, Jesus said:

Mt. 24:12-13 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Hebrews 10

35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

37 For yet a little while, and HE that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, MY soul (says God) shall have no pleasure in him.

39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

Review those things God has said to you by HIS Spirit and those things God has done with you.  Hold fast to these things that came to you by God.  Keep them before you day and night that you not be swept away with the evil of the end times.

For Jesus says:

Matthew 24:12-13   And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

We must be as Jacob who wrestled with the angel and refused to let go until he received that blessing.

Genesis 32

24 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.

25 And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.

26 And he (the angel) said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he (Jacob) said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.

27 And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.

28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

Devils try to influence us to give up.

If we give up and turn from God we have nothing for eternity.
