* Be not conformed to this world.




The ways of this world are opposite to the ways of God as set forth in the New Testament Bible. And because of the ways of this world, the wrath of God, the great tribulation comes upon this earth in the last days.  In those days, things on this earth get so bad that men seek death and shall not find it.  None of us want to be here when God's wrath is loosed upon this earth.  If we do as this world does, we will receive as this world receives.  But if we are born again, we will not want to do as this world.

Some of the ways of this world are shown in this Podcast along with the way of God which we should set our hearts and minds to follow, staying on God's highway.

Romans 12 

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

II Timothy 3:1;13   This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come...But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

* Sex outside of marriage

At the time of sexual intercourse the two become one flesh, even if the sex is with a prostitute.  You can destroy yourself.


I Corinthians 6

15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot?  God forbid.

16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith HE, shall be one flesh.

17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

18 Flee fornicationEvery sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?


20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

To avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

I Corinthians 10:13   There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 


James 1:5   If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

Philippians 2

3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:  

(Did not try to be God, to equal God, though Jesus was in the form of God.)

7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The flesh of man loves to exalt himself above others:  This is called "emulations".

Galatians 5

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,


20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 


emulations:  effort to match or surpass a person or achievement; ambition or endeavor to equal or excel others; jealous rivalry; desire to be superior to others

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

* The world says: Make as much money as possible.

I Timothy 6

5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

(If a person thinks gain is a sign of godliness, withdraw from that person.  Some of the richest people got there riches by corruptions.)

6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.

7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

9 But they that will be rich
(those who work to be rich) fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;

19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:


21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.  


Therefore we learn to put our trust in God to give us that which we need on this earth. 

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and HIS righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.  

Learn to follow one scripture at a time, that scripture given to you by the Holy Spirit.  Do that which is right in the sight of God.

Follow after verses of scripture, not things.

34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Pray over thoughts of tomorrow ... act upon what is before you today.

10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
