They learn to put their trust in their idols, such as:
* crossing themselves
* lighting of candles for prayer
* saying meaningless and powerless rosaries which are made up by their church leaders and are not in the New Testament Bible.
* praying to dead people, such as Mary (not in Bible to do this)
* trusting in dead people, such as Christopher (not in Bible)
* forbidding their people to eat meat on Fridays (doctrines of devils)
* presenting abominable teachings not in Bible
* use of graven images in their religious services
* using "Holy Water" which has no power and is not in NT Bible

* doing "penance" for their sins rather than trusting in Jesus and HIS works
* confessing sins to a priest and trusting in a man for forgiveness of sins

Story of Margaret Tafoya, (American Indian potter)
She enrolled her children at the McCurdy Mission School because she wanted her children to study the Bible. Catholic priest called her in and told her she could not do this but had to put the children back into the Catholic school.
Margaret told priest she wanted her children to study the Bible.
Priest said: "People like you don't need to read the Bible. We will tell you what you need to know."
Margaret said she wanted her children to study Bible.
Priest became very angry and said, "If you do this, we will put you out of the Catholic church and you will never be able to confess your sins again."
Margaret said to me: "I don't know why I did this. But I said to him, 'I don't have to confess my sins to a man like you. I'll confess them to the Lord.' " Priest became very angry then and put her out of church.
She did keep her children in the mission school so they could study the Bible.

In the end, God will destroy the Catholic church along with all the Protestant churches where they have fallen away from scriptures and teach another doctrine.
