* We do not live by the Law of Moses ... but we will be judged by the Law of God in the New Testament Bible.




Many churches have discarded the law of God today.  They say we will not be judged by "The Law" so they discard all the rules given us by God in the New Testament Bible.  In discarding the law of Moses, they also discarded the laws of God.  This is the road to destruction and damnation.

We no longer do the laws of Moses, we no longer sacrifice animals for our sins and trespasses.

Jesus is our sacrifice for sins and trespasses and by the blood of Jesus we are cleansed, "if we walk in the light of HIS word".

If anyone should choose to continue in his sins after he is born again a fearful fate awaits him.

When we are born again by the Spirit of God, we are new creatures!  Now we have an heart for the Word of God.

If we continue in HIS Word, then we are HIS disciples indeed.  (John 8:31)

Each time we do the Word from God, we are recreated in the image of Jesus.

We, the New Testament church, do not live in the law of Moses ... but we do live in the rules of God as set forth in the New Testament Bible.

Galatians 5:19-21  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like:
 of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

I Corinthians 5

11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.

13  Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

This is the law of God as set forth for the church in the New Testament.  We will be judged by the rules of the New Testament Bible.

Romans 2

6 (God) will render to every man according to his deeds:

7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,


9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;


10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

(We cannot work good if we go in a way opposite to the Holy Scriptures as dictated to the church in the New Testament Bible.)

Jesus can't return until the churches fall away from scripture ... the apostasy.

II Thessalonians 2:3  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

The "falling away":  churches would fall away from scripture, this would allow "the man of sin", antichrist, to come into the churches.  When that happens and is "full" Jesus returns and the wrath of God comes upon those churches who have fallen away from scripture, and upon this world, the great tribulation.  But the church people who love scripture and have removed themselves from evils in the churches will be taken off the earth by Jesus before the great tribulation

II Corinthians 5:10-11    For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;

Setting up idols in the churches and following after idols.

An "idol" is that which man sets up for people to worship.  An "idol" has no power but the people think there is a power in doing things "unto that idol".

"Idols" in the churches today.  (Not in Bible but set up by man.)

* Calling ministers, "Reverend", (Not in Bible to do this) 

* Crossing yourselves  (Not in Bible)

* Lighting candles with prayer, or any other time as a part of religion  (Not in Bible)

* "Holy" water to cross yourselves  (Not in Bible)

* Wearing crosses or  "religious"  medallions  (Not in Bible)

* Praying to anyone other than God  (Not in Bible)

* Calling crackers & grape juice "The Lord's Supper"  (The Lord's supper is partaking of the Word of God.)

* Christmas has become an idol greatly observed:  Not in Bible to do this at all.  Easter is not in Bible to observe this.  (Unger:  Easter was added to the church by men in 8th century.  Easter was taken from the pagan goddess of spring.)  In Acts 12, the word Easter means "The Passover".  Lent:  Jesus paid sacrifice for us in today's church.  To pay your own sacrifice by stopping doing something at "Lent" is an abomination and denies the sacrifice paid by Jesus with HIS own blood.    

* Graven images:  Setting up statues in the church building and kneeling before statues in religious ceremonies   

* Music: when used as entertainment in the church

If we add to the Bible or take away from the Bible, we greatly sin.

Marriage, divorce, remarriage: 

* Matthew 5:32   Jesus says:  But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery. 

* If the faithful wife remarries she commits adultery.

* The man who marries the divorced woman commits adultery.

* The husband who divorces a faithful wife will be the cause of her adultery if she remarries. 

* I Corinthians 7:10-11   And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:  But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife. 


* Mark 10 

11 And HE (Jesus) saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her. 

12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery. 


Romans 7 

Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? 

2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
